Why the lack of 10" coaxes?

Been looking for a nice 10" coax, but there are very few on the market...seem to go from 8s to 12s and skip over the 10s. Eminence, Radian, Ciare, and Beyma seem to have them. Just odd that BMS (who has no 10s), 18Sound, B&C, P.Audio, etc don't make them...I know B&C has some in the older catalogs, but nothing current.

Winslow. Not sure about the oem's reasoning in their product lines. I hazard a guess that there is a point of diminishing return on shoehorning (haha) the horn into the magnetic assembly of the bass driver.

Ultimately the bass driver needs to be reasonably matched to the horn. If you need to add in an extra bass driver for the low end, what is the benefit of using a coax driver?

Anyway...

I have a pair of beyma 10xc25 coax drivers that are in the queue to be played with. Initial tests show that (as with every other beyma spec I have verified) the published response is remarkably close to actual. Happy to share as I progress though this will be a background task.

Googlyone, that would be incredible.

I am a bit skeptical on the radians...curves are too smooth to believe and the published numbers on the woofers are a bit different than what I've seen tested. And the eminence isn't received that well. How is the Hawthorne different than the beta 10?

Why not a 12? The physically won't fit. Wish they would though.
