Ultimamente, cada vez que ambos intervenimos en un tópico, éste se va a la M.....A. No se porque será...:drink:

Lately, whenever the two intervene in a topic, it goes to s...t I don't know why it would be ...:drink:

Y, por la foto yo compraba....Nunca se sabe dice un amigo LW.

And you walk by his (her) photo ... You never know says a friend ham radio.

Si, es verdad, aclaremos a los muchachos del foro que nosotros los Argentinos somos muy bromistas.:D

Yes it's true, let's clear the guys on the forum that we Argentines are very jokers.:D

I'm not sure if the Argentines only. If you think that Latin people in general. When I went to the Dos Pajarracos (Sabina and Serrat), were becoming quite humorous banter between them and the public as confident, but I still think that Omedo there was only one. Although the U.S. side, the 3 Stooges were awesome. These 3 new, really, very poor...

Laughing is good for health.

Did you see the last film? I saw it, and is very poor compared to the original. Argument is 3 lines of a ticket machine. Shemp and Curly the best!!

I grew up watching the Three Stooges, I find any imitation unpleasant.

Back on topic, Newton had a dark period in his life when he devoted himself to alchemy, is rumored to he have suffered mercury poisoning that left him almost as Curly.

Cancer is big business for big pharmaceutical laboratories.

Anything that heals, will likely be prohibited in some way.

Hemp, in Spanish is said Cáñamo = Kanab = kannabis = cannabis

S**t, I saw coming...

I have my mom with cancer and cure her is illegal???

I have a piece of land near the mountain, there are some very sympathetic hippies who have no problems...:D

If it looks like something a horse might have dropped in the middle of the road, if it smells like something a horse might have dropped in the middle of the road, if it has the same effect on your roses as something a horse might have dropped in the middle of the road, then, I'm sorry but, it IS something a horse has dropped in the middle of the road. Or was it a Bull? :drink:

I did check my calendar and it definitely is not April.

A man walks up to a big black puddle in the middle of the road and says, "*****! That looks like ****." He bent over to touch it and said, "It feels like ****." He smelled it and said "it smells like ****". He tasted it and said, "it tastes like ****." Then he stepped over it and walked away and said, "****! I'm glad I didn't step in it."

Well, the guy got better - if he wants to attribute it to his amp, whatever. The packaging is different, at least. I get sort of tired of seeing the same old box with tubes and XFMRs poking out the top. I have some marble sheets down in the basement that would make a lovely case if I ever get fond enough of one of my creations to enshrine it in such a manner. Read William Gibson's "Idoru" for more inspiration - one of the protagonists lugs around a laptop customized by a funky firm knbown as "Sandbenders".

Maybe lifting that rock a lot helped in his rehabilitation.

It can be result of wrong generalization. Indeed, deficit of vitamin C can lead to many bad results. Especially, when it is accompanied by deficit of other nutrients usually found in the food rich of vitamin C. Sometimes it is enough to eat small amount of something that had been depleted in order to get dramatic results.

However, mind is powerful integral part of the live body, but if the body does not have some building materials mind can't help it. Like, when building offices material for windows is absent there will be either empty holes, or total darkness that requires to burn extra electric light. Add some tiny weight of glass in respect to weight of steel and cement, and results is very different. But it does not mean that the entire building can be built from window glass, with the same properties as the result.

It's the Fred Flintstone amp.

Deficit of nutrients and excess of one of acids are different sides of the same coin. Like people who have deficit of some nutrients gain weight because their organism in order to get enough of some nutrients that are in deficit craves for more and more food. What is worse, some artificially produced supplements often have similar formula, but can't replace their natural prototype, especially when is taken without other nutrients that the organisms expects to get with this particular nutrient. It is all the same with all refined food ingredients, and with most of supplements. You can't get an apple in a pill. Like, you can't get sun rays from 3 LEDs.

I was thinking of it yesterday
and suddenly this thread appeared !

I am somehow near to the feelings that the man in the interview expressed .
Because nothing but perfection must be let to enter in the ears .

There's no reason in the 21th century to repeat the errors of the past .

So , yesterday I turned on my amp , it's a SS amp .
Every time I have to let it thermally set to hear good sound .
What you hear in the first 5-10 minutes , well , you know ....

So I imagined : What if I didn't hear the music played in the very first minutes
because those instants are still in the mind and in the ears and they would condition the rest of the 'play' .

So the title of this thread suggests me that tubes would have a lesser
masking effect than SS .

:( little money in my pocket
So I'll keep waiting 5 minutes before playing music after switching on the amp

Yawn. Much though everyone seems to derive a jolly sense of self-worth from these exercises I'm afraid it doesn't imply immunity:

I suggested years ago that strongly held disbelief raised to dogmatic levels can be just as hindering to reason and perception as its opposite. Unrelenting, deeply held negative expectations - often raised to levels defining personal identity - may soon be categorized with crystal hanging. Welcome back to humanity.

Richard Bandler once told the story about his visit to surgeon who explained him step by step which pain he will feel, what will be side effects, and so on... Richard got mad and said to the doctor, "Listen, I will tell you in great details now, step by step, how you will come home tonight, what you will feel, and how you will loose your potency and become impotent. Believe me, I am a hypnotherapist, and I can do that".
The doctor made big eyes and said, "I am sorry doctor Bandler; I understand that it is wrong, but I have to do that according to the law!"
If doctor does not say about possible bad feelings and side effects he/she can be sued and loose the license.

Difficult to start, so much audiophile ******** in one place. And my god, it's practically my neighbour, less than 40km away o_O

Things to laugh about as hard as possible without falling off the chair:

* sandstone for the magnetic shielding, yeah :)

* quartz for the harmonization, whatever that is

* music from CD containing significant amounts of 200kHz harmonics

Common sense gets more and more rare in my country, I am afraid...

Andreas
Maybe you would go there listen this miraculous amp and report us the results.
I would love to ask him:
1- How this sir can listen over 20 kHz in this age?
2- How a output transformer can delivery these hi frequencies? or this is a OTL amp?
3- What tweeter he is using to reproduce 200 kHz?
4- What musical instrument had these freq to play?
