And distortion goes down with level, just as in nature too. Take a walk in the forest at night. After half an hour you hear things that you never thought. Our lives are so full of noise.
Yes, Stefano, that was an invitation. I can not invite more then 6 persons at ones though when we do not only want to party but also work a bit.

:D :superman:

Can I invite you here in the US? I can really have 3-4 people over, I have big space.

My wife cooks italian (she learned from my mom) and maybe in the spare time we can listen to the super duper version of the Paradise through the tweeter of my 800

But really I always like to have good people over my place, so feel free to come visit me if you would like to..

as for your invitation...I am on....just not on September...maybe later on...and when I come I can bring my tweeter along with me ;)

Thanks Stefano. I work for Spiral Groove - Canalis in Berkeley where i am the Chief Designer. So i am in the states from time to time.

nice!!!! Just let me know when you are here the next time.
Let's combine it when I have finished the Paradise and my other design, so we can do some nice listenings in the spare time and go around for chicago and other places...

I ones was at the Playboy mansion in Chicago. The librarian was a friend of my friend so he showed me the original Marylin Monroe titel photo that was stored in a hugh freezer.
Quite impressive was also the beautifying software that could erase the tiniest non perfections, if there are any on a human being.

Oh my gosh, that is so cool!! I would love to see the original Marylin Monoes's picture!!
She was beautiful!!!! Not like the new girls in TV with all plastic surgeries performed all over their body!!
She was a natural beauty...

I see what you mean, art back then was different from now.
TV, Movie...'s standard have significantly changed since then and undoubtfully, what made Marylin so sexy was her weird personality and the fact that she was sad at times.
Her pictures to me look very sad, maybe because now we know she ended up killing herself!
Anyhow she was one of the most beautiful woman the earth has ever hosted!

It is a pleasure to be able to chat with people so much involved in high end vinyl reproduction systems....
Before internet (not so long ago) we could only read articles in magazines or books from those that decided to publish ideas.

Now it is possible to learn directly (just in time) if you know how to place your questions.

I do feel honoured to be able to share ideas with "real" experts ... some of them quite inventive.

Hope I can meet some of you in the near future also... for now I am still strugling to setle down.

Now back to Paradise.... I usually use 20mA LED's in my other builds but reading this post from JG : http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/analogue-source/154210-mpp-616.html#post3086678
I get the idea I can use 2mA ones.....
JG, in the attached post were you speaking about the Paradise R3 ?
