The Pass Pub: The High-End Off Topic Thread

I was collected this morning by an ambulance! Spent the day in an icy sweat :cool:and - I am told - in trauma!! Evidently suffering from an excess of potassium...as a result of hogging burgers and sausages at the BBQ last night.
That will learn me!

Now back home after a few bags of drip, and feeling quite well again - if a bit drained.:):) I will pass on tonight's online festivity.;)

This film manages to get into my reason from this story:

Sooooooooooo - get well and stay that way 'cause we need all the dummy's here we can find!!! ;)

Yeah bit friliking late but YEAH.

And don't trust no blody doctors they swore they shuld do no harm but they are to bussy cutting budgets so they don't wanna do any good either and trow you out as fast as they can.

(This aplies to UK as If over the pond one family can alwayse take them to the cleaners.)

Bet you is going to take couple of weeks before bruises from nedles disapears.

Mine did......... Combination of no food for 36 hours, VR4 going to beter pastures, she naghing because she does no like no blody spoilers and 60 hours weeks at work

So ended in ozi with tiker (when they got here) doing 80
Now that is harsh I keep the thing going at less than 60 most of the time.

Guess what I was asked/told by same dude in green overalhs
Do you like spicy food?!!!
Which I do so, that was it sitting on chair till they trow me out at 4 in the morning and both arms black and blue

Yo I had not a single sick day or seen butchers in years not even 8 years ago when I broke rib crimping same 150mm cables.

Any way stop getting crap from super and get decent salt on the table.

get well and stay that way 'cause we need all the dummy's here we can find!!!

Can't say beter than that.;)

Always a surprise how a James Dean head can slim slow slide in a few decades to a character that looks like it walked straight out of a Tarantino flick.

Well - try to stay away from the plastic surgeons in attempt to keep looking younger -:eek::eek:

Thinking of you briancodummy........ ;)

Playing whacko Irish guy muzic for ya to get well soooooooon!!!! :D:D:D
Moondance - Van Morrison - YouTube

Thanks for that!:) 2C2 and Gyuri!:)

Van,the man,Morrison lived very near Robert Churchill of Yamamura Churchill.

Tonight we have a 'Royal Jubilee' concert on TV, staged outside Buck House and featuring all the old Brit stalwarts such as Cheryl Cole, Cliff Richard, Maccer McC, plus a host of others all with military brass bands etc. I'll soon bore of it 'cos much is just so predictable! But it is very professionally run....thus far.

Going to another (late) BBQ!!!!!!!:p BUT will avoid ALL food there!:rolleyes:
Those sausages look fearsome and probably better used to welcome one' enemies than eaten by oneself!:D:D:D:D

Thanks Red Volvo!!

Despite my best intentions and your sage advice (thrown in to expand your English vocabulary!!:p) you will see above my plans for tonite!!;)

Our doctors here are excellent, but failed to draw blood following many many attempts as my veins had gone into spasm......fortunately I was on a drip very quickly and before I got worse, so I had lots of drip feed something or other! Every pinhole has sealed well, and no wasted blood!! Despite Warfarin, no bruises. A beautiful Swedish nursing sister made my blood flow, .... until I found that she is a good tennis friend of de missus!!!:mad:In fact since taking lower beta blockers than before I feel much better - but a bit 'apres' - than before!:)

A few days simple food and a few long lazy extra hours in bed in the mornings and I will be back on full turbo on all cylinders!:):)

You are gonna have to stop by my place and learn how to BBQ Southern Style...... 1st rule - loose the kilt - Bar-B-Queing with a kilt on juz ain't right......

Those sausages look fearsome and probably better used to welcome one' enemies than eaten by oneself!:D:D:D:D

I do think that the term "bangers" is much more fitting for that particular type of sausage.....

BTW - it's good to see that Van M's chants helped to get you up and around again!!!! ps - stay away from the bananas and bread fruit..;)

Go over and give that drek EMT TT a kick - it keeps playing the same groove over and over again.......:p:p:p:p

In my imagination I kick that piece of dodo drek every time its mentioned!:p:p:p:cool: My imaginary foot really hurts now.:mad:

Got back from the BBQ safe and sound. Ate no suspect sailor's salty sausages, and generally behaved myself. It was just outside an old hill castle built on a high point and similar fires could be seen (with bios) up to nearly sixty miles away. Really rather moving and well worth the long steep climb to get there.:)

The castle was in former times a sacred dodo sanctuary!:p:p:D

ZM and me are miles ahead of ya in dummy world - having just watched video posted earlier several times..... :D:D:D

But walking up big old seep hill right after getting outta da hospital - not real smart IMO (as if MO counts for anything - which according to SWMBO - it isn't worth much).....
