Excellent. SpeakOn is the connector of choice. Whether to put part of the filtering inside amp case was a big question. If using regulated supply like Juma did in his 2sk2013/J313 F5, does this stay with the Trafo since it is doing a lot of the filtering. Is it more ideal to have multiple small caps as last C in CRC making for easier load. what about noise pickup on cables? I have been looking at 4c cable usually reserved for speakers, but it is unshielded.
reg - whatever is easier for you , but better integrated with amp
multiple caps - usually better , but not if comparing big good ones and small bad ones
shielding is not necessary at those levels of current ( if I resume well that we are speaking strictly about power amps )

What about this?
ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 CY-lappbenelux.lappgroup.com
I have found some others that I am looking at. Sourcing that fine looking cable would probably be difficult.
We just bought 50m ÖLFLEX CLASSIC 100 CY 3G2.5 at work. Besides using it at work, I plan to use it for power cables and internal cabling (power entry to transformer).
I know Farnell sells some types of Lapp cable. Not sure if they sell this one.

I just typed Brlington, NC in the dealer locator box at Lapp USA and found seveal dealers in you area.

Good luck!
I don't want to buy 100ft.
I know that Farnell sells 10m lengths and that some Dutch dealers sell by the meter.
This was what I was looking at.
Belden 83803
I understand that Belden 19364 is also used for diy power cables. It has a separate drain wire.
SO with all the suggestions, there was never any statement of whether or not it is beneficial or worth the effort.
re-read what I wrote in my first reply
off course , that's science truth , valid by sole fact that that's my opinion
I will add some thoughts about that ...
I can think of two good reasons why you would like to have PSU in a separate unit:
1.) Because your main board is sensitive to radiation coming from PSU - typically DACs may suffer from that but there are always ways how you can protect your circuit from it even when they are in the same enclosure
2.) Your PSU is complex, demands a lot of space, so it is practical to put it in a separate enclosure.
Anyway, by getting more space you have to take care about transffering the power from PSU to the main board: story about cables and voltage loss on them; additional filtering demands (Zen mentioned that and that is certainly good advice); issues with ground; ... it is definitely more complicated.
Lapp is good and you can find good offers for them on German eBay. Another good source is Conrad.de.

Thanks for the input. I have the Speakon connectors, very well done IMHO. They are a lot like the Eichmann plugs in their implementation. Twist for my particular situtaion is that i plan to have BA-FE's in seperate enclosure so I wonder how this may affect power transfer between cases. Am I correct that i should carry earth to all individual cases and that star ground should be located in the output stage case with last section of PSU filter? One last thing, any opinions on ultrasoft diodes vs standard bridge rectifiers. Any noticable reason to guild the lilly?
