Digisoft,

I'm surprised I have to explain this to you; I make my living from this product, and I cannot therefore release the circuit schematic. I would be pleased to sell you a kit, any other transaction denies me income.

Hugh

You know how the people say. When you pay $$$$ you always think is THE BEST. :)
That's why commercial projects are more popular. Everything is in marketing.

Yes, true, and the corrollary is that if you pay nothing for something, that's probably all it is worth!!

Best,

Hugh

That is not true at all. The best things are free out there.
Boro-projects are great and free.
In software for example PHP is free. THE MOST POPULAR language PHP is free. I can go on and on with this list of free and great products.

Anyway it is your right to sell it and I don't mind that. But you could be more friendly for this community and give the schematic. You can still sell PCBs like all others do.

The real reason for your recalcitrance, therefore, is based on your assumption of profit, which you consider unreasonable.

Hmmm, what about other viable business models, like Microsoft?

I cannot change your mind, and will not try, but it is clear to me you want the IP at no cost, which raises a few eyebrows in some circles. As I said, I will sell you a kit, otherwise, get over it, move on, and build some of the excellent free designs out there, such as Boraomega's which are outstanding. You are sounding like a child who wants a toy in a shop front and the parent says no.

It seems you too have some of the Dunning Kruger in you; you cannot possibly know what went into the design of the AKSA, nor how much cost was involved in the R&D, nor how many were sold, etc. My conclusion is that yours is a moral position, not a commercial position, and I reject it out of hand.

Rather than berate me in public, doubtless hoping to erode my reputation, why did you not send me a private email, I would have been far more forthcoming? Now there is no reason why I should help you, and every reason why I should walk away.....

I think strategy is important in all dealings, particularly over something so ego-related as IP.

Hugh

No need to post PMs. We can talk about it here. YES I MOVED ON and I'll build boro's amplifier.
I am sure that your amp doesn't sound that great. I can imagine how many people you have payed just to post on forums about that how GREAT is your product.
You know what is the problem? When someone is in group of people lets say 100, and they see something black and they all say it is white, what do you think the one person will say? No no people it is black? LOL

You can't talk about Microsoft. Microsoft IS COMPLETELY different think.
Microsoft GIVES YOU 40 day test period of their products. Would you give me that test period of your schematic?
What if the sound is horrible? YES I KNOW WHAT!!! My money are gone and I'll brainwash MYSELF that it sounds GREAT like everyone else say when they hear it but their money is gone so they will accept it AS IS and say WOW this is AWESOME schematic.

This is called "Building reputation on blindfolded"

And when something costs 800$ people always think "wow this is so expensive, IT MUST BE professional class amplifier".
So just stop with your marketing and post your proves. AND don't tell me that there are so much people happy with your amplifier because I'll say to you, there are so much people happy with Windows 7 but there are also people that run LINUX and dislike Windows. And they all had chance to try Windows for 40 days.
