F4 power amplifier

OK Folks
Now I've got the revised 2007 version of the F4 circuit .
I can see some changes, and some 'issues' if I try to build the 2006 circuit ( for which I have all components ) on Peter's PCBs . There are changes involving how C3 and C4 connect via R24 and R25 onto the 0V which are not the same on the earlier circuit . Maybe if Peter is out there he can comment .

Ok
Now starting to build my F4
Does anyone have the circuit that Peter Daniels used as ref. for F4 signal PCBs ?

I used this circuit:

Thanks Peter I just got that circuit earlier and have been looking at it .
I'm getting a sinking feeling that I won't be able to build the earlier circuit on these PCBs .
I'll have to start ripping stuff out of the ( beautifully designed and made ! ) PCBs ...
Think I'll go back to the speaker project for a couple of weeks .

A couple of questions to clear up some repetitive msunerstandings.

1) What is the power output of an F4? If I understand correctly:
-25w/ch @ 8ohm, 50w/ch @4ohm, and 100W SE or BAL at 8ohm.
-maximum power is 100W class A before it switches to AB.

2) How do I mod my Peter Daniel F4 monos to have a 2nd or 3rd oder low-pass xover at the input and my stereo F4 to have a 1st order high pass? Low pass at 70Hz and the high pass at around 150Hz.

Thanks.

Finally Finished

My first real DIY audio project!

Thanks to cviller for help with the boards and jacco and steenoe for advice on the big RIFA’s.

And, of course, to Nelson – from one ’51 baby to another, thank you for providing the reason and means for an old dog to start learning some new tricks.

I've tried to finish the amp in the Aussie vernacular style – still looking for the right bit of weathered corrugated iron to put on top. :D

Pumpkin is balanced, well it could be used single ended but kid of a shame. Finding a single ended amp with enough gain may be an issue. On the other hand I am driving my F4 with an Impass (Balanced) while the pumpkin get its microprocessor upgrade. I am not sure the one I will keep. The Pumpkin has a little more detail but the Impass is a little more laid back. Both excellent preamps'.

P.S. just noticed led eyes peeking out of knot hole - cool
