Output Cap MC-prepre
Folks,
I am busy with starting to assemble the Pearl Phono Package of Promitheus (Nice job Ilias! ). Can anybody enlighten me about the use of the rather large coupling cap in the MC-prepre. As far as I know, this cap was just 10uF in the Ono and became 220uF in the X-Ono.

Grounding Pearl
Folks,
Hope this question is easier to answer than my last one . I am a bit puzzled about the correct way to ground the Pearl MM and Ono MC boards and the two power supply boards. For your information, I will use one transformer and the unregulated Power Supply as a whole is separately boxed from the Phono Stage.
I was planning to create one starground in close proximity to the output RCAs. To this starground the grounds from both input and output RCAs will be connected as are both the power supply grounds. From this starground, grounding wires will be connected to the ground points on the several PCBs.
After searching and reading lots of posts, I got the impression that this is not the way to do the grounding. The RCAs should not be connected together groundwise but should be grounded via the PCBs, like in the attached picture of Buhl's Pearl. However, this leaves me with the following question: How and where should I connect the PSU-grounds to each other? If the output RCAs are not connected to a starground between them, it makes little sense to create a starground between the outputs. I have read and re-read Wayne’s Pearl article on this specific subject but somehow I cannot get a clue .
Help me out on this one.
