This particular TD-124/I was given to me in pieces, it had apparently been stripped of most key parts to upgrade a TD-121. Initially I ran it as a TD-121 while I scrounged around for the parts to restore it on eBay. I acquired a bearing housing and spindle, the housing I rebuilt with fresh bushings (Spanish) and a thick steel endcap. I scored a parts unit on eBay for a fairly obscene price which donated its strobe, speed change mechanism, and various other parts to this table. The platter is a MKII zamac platter with a glass platter on top. The arm is a modified SME 3009 Series II (SPU compatibility) with an Ortofon GM E II SPU on it.
