How to set up the spell checker.

Surprise!

Spell check is NOT in the DIYAudio software,
it is part of your browser.

Set up is simple. Follow these
general steps:

On the menu bar select and hold tools:



Then, drag down and selection Options:







Then from the tool options scroll down and select Advanced:




Then at the bottom click on the check box, to
put a check in it:



Close the window, restart your browser, that is it....

Well, a stock 339A gives you a wide band ac voltmeter, an oscillator and analyzer. A stock one will do you pretty well as long as you have no interest in reading below...

For those of use that use the QA400 FFT,
here are some tips that will help us use the
product and software for measurement.

Press the Ctrl key plus an Axis, Windowing, or Measurement soft switch parameter.

For example, PRESS Ctrl + .dBV brings up a
dialog box to set External Gain & Peak Display Format:


Ctrl + .dBr brings up the following:




Ctrl + .X Lin:




Ctrl + .X Log:

There are some simple keyboard short cuts
that have been around for a while and work.

You may already know them some of us might
not. They were originally used in the Apple
Computer interface and have been held over
on the windows computer too.

After you select an item by clicking it
or clicking and dragging, then do
one of the following: Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste.

The actions are performed with the keyboard keys,
the lower left side and above the space bar.

The keys are Z X C V .

Use one of these keys with the Ctrl key.

Ctrl + C Copy
Ctrl + V Paste
Ctrl + X Delete
Ctrl + Z Undo

The Ctrl key is located in the lower left corner
of the keyboard.

Use the rolling press to make this work.

First press Ctrl with the little finger, left hand,
hold it down,
then press C key with middle finger,...

Here is one method to capture your computer measurements
from your computer screen.

To capture only a window that is selected:

Press ALT and Print Screen
keys at the same time.

OR

To capture the whole computer screen image:
Press the Print Screen key.

Then open your paint program and paste
the capture:

Press CTRL and V keys.

Your window/screen is now in your paint program.
Save it in a JPEG format.

Note, the generic paint program is listed
under the Start Menu:All Programs:Accessories:Paint

When saving, look and see where Windows
puts the file...it can get real tricky to find again.

IMG or BMG files are huge.
JPG (Joint Photographic Expert Group)
has algorithms that compress the file size
down to make it easier to send and receive.
